Withersby Packs the House for Show at Parkside Lounge

From left to right (Dan Sullivan, Dan Altano and Kevin Madden) played an extended set to a packed house at Parkside Lounge February 2, 2013

In front of a big crowd at Parkside Lounge on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Withersby entertained fans with an extended set Saturday February 2, 2013 that featured two long encores. Playing old favorites and some brand new tunes (Water Slide, An Hour or So and It’s Called Love to name a few), the band made its return to Parkside Lounge count.

Withersby would like to thank everyone who came and made noise!

Stay tuned in the next few weeks for more show announcements.

What’s up everyone? Happy New Year!!

As you may know from following us on our official Facebook page, we’ve got a few things coming up soon and it all starts on a jam packed long weekend from January 31st to February 2nd…

First things first, we have been selected from a large group to participate in the Fifth Annual Singer-Songwriter Competition at Waltz-Histora in NYC. The first round is Thursday January 31st where we will be up against 19 other songwriters. If we place in the top three out of the group we will advance to the finals on Sunday February 3rd where we will compete for a $1,000 prize. Come and support us as we kick some ass!

Right smack in between the competion we will be performing at Parskide Lounge on NYC’s lower eastside. Last time we played there we did a 60-mintue encore so you never know what will happen this time. Check out our Facebook invite for more details.

We’re also currently working on our first full-length album which will include a fuller sound and brand new songs. Look for a full band show which will feature Dan Sullivan on lead guitar, Alex Gabucci on bass, and Paul Cigolini on drums behind usuals Dan Altano and Kevin Madden.

Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook for news, announcements, and as usual..free music. See you all soon!
